Since April, 2008, I have worked at the Malibu shaman as a Psychic, on the sales floor, and as a jewelry artist. We are launching The Malibu Shaman's website that I have had the pleasure to design this Holiday, 2008.

BIO:

Cathy Curtiss Albrecht is from the green rolling hills of Connecticut. Growing up on a farm and within the nature of the countryside, Cathy knew the psychic arts were her life. Cathy's Mom always supported her interest and motivating energy behind the art and music in her life. At a young age, with her mom's encouragement, she sang in theatrical plays (first performance at the age of three), played flute and piano endlessly every moment of the day and had the rhythm of music in her daily life.

Every opportunity to join art contests with paintings, clothing, making jewelry, and any creative imaginative musical quest; Cathy always has relished within the pursuit of art and music. While growing up, literally there was no art supply store to go to, therefore she found things around the house and walking in the woods to create with. Cathy's daily life was filled with projects growing up and the resourceful nature of her discoveries added to her imagery. These acquisitions increased her psychic and imaginative abilities.

Cathy is a Berklee College of Music, Boston Massachusetts, Alumni and is a graduate of the International Metaphysical Ministry, Sedona Arizona. While attending both places of education, she earned honors and recognition for uniqueness and positive input within the creative visual arts.

Combining interest with the artistic medium side of her talents, Cathy has professional business experience since the age of 14. She taught music, sold musical equipment to local communities, famous performers and then pursued international sales within the sound reinforcement, recording studio, and musical instrument marketplace.

Cathy's mission for knowledge and tapping into the life force of the creative mind became her turn of direction in 1997 when she decided to leave the sales oriented environments. This dedication has given Cathy a more spiritual direction with metaphysical consulting and teaching the power of the mind through visualization. She has been on the radio and publicly spoken often with her teachings and consultations. Since April 2008, she works with the Malibu Shaman at Cross Creek Plaza, Malibu California (310) 456-5617.

Since 1990, Cathy has been researching extensively for spiritual material. After reading more than 1000 books on the subject and talking to more than 1000 clients per year worldwide, Cathy has decided to continue putting to use the mission of life through metaphysics. At the beginning of 2007, she has taught herself to design and administrate websites. This discovery enhances her passion for learning.

Cathy is honored to make handcrafted jewelry with astrological significance combining our of Mother Earth's Gems and Crystals. She understands the vibrational medicine of the jewelry process and adds a spiritual sense to the art of jewelry. Her passion has deepened with the extensive traveling that Cathy has enjoyed. Cultural meanings in her jewelry just simply add to her message through the handcrafting of jewelry.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT:

As an Artist, I have enjoyed making handcrafted jewelry with precious stones and gems combined with sterling silver and other precious metals and unique imagery. Each design starts with a concept of representing some spiritual connection. By using wonderful divination tools such as gemstones and precious metals, it allows me to create an image or a symbol, and a spiritual color scheme to resonate special meanings and characteristics.

Gemstones indigenous to native areas worldwide have always used their own cultural symbols, talismans, and amulets telling the story of their people. It is with this step of creative visualization that stimulates my artistic interest the most. I always begin the process with the basic feeling of "I can figure it out" and "I am one with all the universe" and I therefore become one with my universal energy source and all cultures worldwide. I prefer to let each project be unique, therefore, no two pieces are alike! Synchronicity plays an important role in my creative process. Having the daily influences of my life today represent my creativity of today.

All of the artistic work that I have been able to create throughout my life is an accumulation of loving, creative memories from all of my life. These memories may include many diversified experiences geographically; or any experience that is just coming towards me. I soak it in. I also believe that we retain experiences from many lifetimes and that all of our artistic work represents creations from all lifetimes (my lifetimes and all information that I may receive from History and Science). Energy work stimulated by creating art is so powerful, and so loving, new concepts are generated from the ONE SOURCE! Perhaps it must be with what all that my soul has experienced that I can tap into the art of creativity - the highest power of Love! Energy cannot be creating or destroyed, it just transforms from one source to another. Love and creativity are the universal constant of all that is ONE. Therefore, I am, I create.

With combining the knowledge of Crystals, Food, and Astrology, Cathy Crystal shares with you her psychic and metaphysical powers. All of the tools are available to us and Cathy will be happy to help you tune in.

What really sets me on fire and what I want to share with you is the beauty of Mother Earth's Gemstones. Pieces from the Earth can be found in the whole rainbow spectrum of color. The metals that handcraft the jewelry hold onto the vibrational energy of the wearer (Psychometry). I have always collected and searched out rocks, crystals, gemstones, shells and other types of petrified life. Fire, Air, Earth and Water make up the elements and exude their spiritual color spectrum. The alignment of these colors and collections become part of the Chakra energy source within each jewelry piece. All of Mother Earth's elements designates a true symbolic meaning within each piece; therefore making each creation resonate with its own name.

My vision is to always be responsive to the creative awareness around and within me. When someone or someplace expresses their knowledge within a particular imagery; my curiosity to represent that interest inspires me because the story of that connection makes me feel alive. Every artistic medium influences me, especially when it diversifies with cultural symbols and history in its message.

The creative process is always evolving, I am always learning and making something that I believe to be pleasing to the senses. Its style has the vibrational meaning behind some hidden message of creation. I want to know the message! It is awakening and enlightening! Always a unique blueprint that is within its own power to become its very own. I share each named item with you and for your to wear knowing the significance. Therefore we are the message, and so it is.

In regards to Metaphysics, Cathy at the age of three became influenced as a psychic via my great grandfather. He had exceptional abilities with metaphysics. So did his daughter, my grandmother.

As a child I walked with mother earth every day curious about my Northeast Indian and English Heritage. I became involved with the plants, herbs, and fruits of the region as well as growing up on the farmland with the resources of Food at the fingertips.

My interest in music also began at the age of three and I learned to channel (Listen) to the Universe. I received music awards throughout high school and going to college. I attended Berklee College of Music, where I am an active alumni in Los Angeles.

Starting at the age of 14, I began selling musical, pro audio, and keyboard equipment to musicians internationally. I remained in that business for 23 years, whereas having the international experience in the business, finance, relationship world, I decided in 1997 to become a full-time psychic. I apply all of my experiences to the Psychic/Metaphysical Arts as a Spiritual Reader. I married in 2001, at the age of forty, and enjoy my wondrous life with my husband. In January 1990, I had a vision of him and I meeting in Malibu, so I moved from the east coast to California in 1992, officially starting my psychic career. From the age of 15, I Knew the day that he would propose to me!

During conversations with my close friends, I predicted the double LANDERS earthquakes in 1992 as well as telling 50 notable people in the music business 5 days beforehand about the January 17th 1994 Northridge, California Earthquake.

My goals of always aspiring to learn and teach, I have received a bachelors degree from the International Metaphysics Ministry and I am part of their doctoral program. I have been a teacher of classes for students learning the psychic arts for all ages.

In Sedona Arizona and Las Vegas, I have been a speaker on Crystals/Gemstones/ and Vibrational Healing at 6 conventions for the University of Metaphysics.

As a public speaker, I have produced and have been the sole speaker for radio. With the Points of Light program on the Wave 94.9, on one show, I channeled the 9/11 event that would take place. All relevant training I have obtained has been doing the work and being influenced by other gifted psychics in the learning process.

I feel that my dedication to the Metaphysics world will always be a growing experience that I wish to share with all of the universe.
